Abbottstown Mobile Food Pantry
We collect and donate food to our local food pantry, plus several of our members volunteer each month. In partnership with New Hope Ministries the Mobile Food Pantry comes to St. John's on the first Thursday of the month from 3-5pm to help those in need. |
God's Work, Our Hands Sunday!
On September 7th we kicked off our Sunday School program
with fellowship, breakfast and drinks.
A time of service followed as we put our hands and feet to work serving the Lord.
We assembled CWS Emergency Cleanup Buckets and LWR Personal Care Kits.

Laundry Love – A Ministry of St. John’s Lutheran Church
On the first Tuesday of every month, St. John’s Lutheran Church offers the gift of clean laundry through our Laundry Love ministry. From 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the laundromat in the Spring Forge Shopping Center (Spring Grove, PA), we cover the cost of washing and drying clothes for anyone in need—no strings attached.
This simple act of service offers dignity, care, and community one load at a time.

Community Meal Ministry (PAL)
St. John’s prepares a meal ever sixth Friday from 9am-noon at the Hanover Area Council of Churches, Carlisle Street, Hanover. At each meal we serve approximately 100 people who are in need at no cost to them. If you would be able to volunteer, contact the church office. |
